Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On May 14, 2010, James W. Whalen resigned as a director of EQT Corporation (the “Company”). Mr. Whalen’s resignation was not the result of any known disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Whalen did cite concerns over his employer’s and the Company’s anticipated competing business activities as the reason for his resignation.
