Pursuant to the provisions of article 157, paragraph 4, of Law nº 6,404/76 and CVM Instruction nº 358/2002, ARACRUZ CELULOSE S.A. announces that, with the vacation of the post of Director previously occupied by Isac Roffé Zagury, Mr. VALDIR ROQUE has on this date been elected Director, to run the company’s financial activities, as well as to assume the tasks of Investor Relations Officer.
