GOL is Number One in Punctuality and Operating Efficiency
São Paulo, November 25, 2005 GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (NYSE: GOL and Bovespa: GOLL4), Brazils low-cost, low-fare airline, ranked first in the Brazilian airline industry in October for punctuality on national and international flights, as well as domestic and international operating efficiency, according to the Department of Civil Aviation (DAC).
GOLs punctuality index in the domestic market was 99% in October up from 93% in September. In the same period, the industry average was 95%. GOLs international flights had a punctuality index of 100%. The Company is also ranked first in operating efficiency (regularity index vs. punctuality) in the Brazilian aviation industry. Operating efficiency was 91% for GOLs routes in Brazil and 100% for its international flights; while the average in the industry, over the same period, was 79% and 93%, respectively.
