On October 28, 2005, the Board of Directors of Sprint Nextel Corporation ("Sprint Nextel") accepted the resignation of Gerald L. Storch as a director of Sprint Nextel. Sprint Nextel and its Board expressed its appreciation for Mr. Storch’s service to the Board and the company.
