Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 24, 2006, Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it had received notification from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools that (i) the Company’s Georgia Medical Institute campuses in Atlanta, Marietta and Jonesboro, Georgia have received a grant of continued accreditation through December 31, 2007, and (ii) the Company's Olympia campuses in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Michigan and Merrillville, Indiana have received a grant of continued accreditation through December 31, 2009.
