Item 8.01 Other Events.

On March 16, 2007, Kimberly Schaefer, Chief Operating Officer of Great Wolf Resorts, Inc., established a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. The planned sales are to facilitate her asset diversification and liquidity. Any transactions under the new plan will be disclosed publicly through Form 144 and Form 4 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The trading plan will terminate on or before March 31, 2008.
