OVERSEAS REGULATORY ANNOUNCEMENT
Xiangqi Hydropower Unit 2 Completed Trial Run
This announcement is issued pursuant to Rules 13.09(1) and (2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Huaneng Power International, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that one 20MW generating unit (Unit 2) of Hunan Yongzhou Xiangqi Hydropower Station (which is wholly-owned by the Company) has completed trial run recently.
To-date, the Company’s total controlled generation capacity has increased from 60,375MW to 60,395MW, and total equity-based generation capacity has increased from 55,350MW to 55,370MW.
