Graham has decided to step down as vice chairman of the Board of Directors and retire from the company. "Over the past 30 years, Bob has worked to build AIM and AMVESCAP into a respected investment management organization that touches the lives of millions of investors around the globe," said Marty Flanagan, president and CEO. "We are extremely grateful for the many lasting contributions Bob has made to our company and to the industry." "I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful people over the course of my career," said Bob Graham. Bob Graham was one of the co-founders of AIM Investments in 1976, which merged with INVESCO in 1997 to form AMVESCAP. He has served as a director of AMVESCAP since 1997 and vice chairman of the Board since 2001. He has served as a member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee of the Investment Company Institute and currently serves as chairman of ICI Mutual Insurance Company.
