Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On July 29, 2013, the Company reported a net loss from continuing operations, excluding certain nonrecurring items, of $2.4 million, or $0.05 per share, for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, as compared with net earnings from continuing operations, excluding certain nonrecurring items, of $2.7 million, or $0.05 per share, for the second quarter of 2012. On a reported basis, the Company’s second quarter net loss from continuing operations totaled $0.30 per share, as compared to net earnings of $0.01 per share during the second quarter of 2012. Net sales from continuing operations for the second quarter were $87.6 million, compared to $88.6 million in 2012.
