Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 15, 2014 Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Greg Phaneuf, is leaving the Company to accept a role with another company. Mr. Phaneuf’s resignation is effective October 10, 2014 and he will continue in the role until that date to assist the Company with the transition to a new CFO.
