By: 3BL Media

SOURCE: GoDaddy

DESCRIPTION:

Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people and organizations to transform their communities and the world through the act of volunteering and donations.

GoDaddy, the company empowering everyday entrepreneurs around the world by providing all of the help and tools to succeed both online and offline, is sharing the story of three GoDaddy customers whose non-profits are positively impacting their local community to help inspire others to give back.

Hashtag Lunchbag, Seattle

Karly Burke runs the #HashtagLunchBag Seattle, WA, non-profit location, a humanity service movement that makes and packs brown bag lunches with love messages to serve the homeless in Seattle. During these difficult times, the organization seeks to bring humanity and love to those who need it most.

Karly relentlessly believes we should all treat people the way you’d like to be treated and she wanted to create a movement around this principle. She puts her heart and soul into the movement and hopes Seattle companies will take notice and contribute to the cause so she can continue to serve her community.

Keychains for Kindness

Keychains for Kindness is a nonprofit organization based in Vancouver, WA, that makes customized keychains to raise funds to help students pay for their lunch debt, children's hospitals, and other areas to support the needs of children and families.

These keychains were created by nine-year-old Keoni, with the help of his five-year-old brother Kaleo, to support elementary school classmates who needed help to pay for their lunch, and the initiative has grown into a mission to spread kindness everywhere.
