What’s Next for the Surging BPO Industry?

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA / ACCESSWIRE / October 19, 2021 / A remote office without the in-house overheads and an outsource staff roster of only A level professionals. These are two of the ways in which international outsourcing service, Pandr, is leading the Business Process Outsourcing Industry into the next stage of its development.

The working from home phenomenon that COVID necessitated showed business that remote working was viable, practicable and efficient. It did not begin a surge in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). The market size for global outsourcing reached $92.5 billion before the pandemic. It did, though, give it a greater legitimacy. Outsourcing company, Pandr, is one of the companies leading that new legitimacy. It only takes on A level staff.

Jesse King, Director of Pandr, explains, "We pride ourselves in hiring A Players only in our company. An ‘A player' is a high performer who is in the top 10% of talent available. We identify these people using an internationally respected hiring method employed by blue chip companies.

"These high-functioning staff are changing the face of Business Process Outsourcing," he adds. "And the timing is right for them to do so. Many businesses have had to scale back full-time staff in the last two years. They are beginning to feel the pressure of the operational challenges that this can cause. With fewer staff, completing tasks on time becomes harder and completing tasks to the standard needed a worrying challenge. When they consider outsourcing, they demand staff that maintain the standard of quality for which they are known."

Pandr has been adapting to anticipate the needs of a changing market. One area of focus is its two-tier service, in response to the financial tightening that many businesses have undergone because of the pandemic. The company, which is based in Melbourne Australia but services corporations also in the USA and UK, has expanded its staff office in Legazpi, Philippines. Its Filippino staff are available for approximately up to seventy percent of the cost of American workers and Pandr can create a designated remote office in Legazpi for customers so that their outsourced staff can work together.

"With their outsourced team in one place and communication able to flow freely across it, companies can benefit from the streamlining of their complex tasks," Jesse noted. "This is especially beneficial when a high level of expertise is needed, or when multiple roles are outsourced - admin support and customer service, for example."

There is no doubt that the BPO industry has an opportunity presented to it as the business world leaves COVID behind. But it must rise to the challenge of meeting the changed needs of the post-pandemic world. This is a reality that Pandr has already taken on board.
