“We’re honored to announce that Procore has been selected for the 2021 USMCA Philanthropist of the Year Award. Procore’s mission and stance on diversity, equity and inclusion mirrors USMCA’s mission and purpose,” said Rev. Larry S. Bullock, President and CEO of USMCA. “We honor the progressive stance Procore has taken in the Black and brown community.”

Procore accepted the award during USMCA’s 30th Annual Millennium Awards Celebration, which seeks to capture the accomplishments of honorees during the three decades of advocacy and technical assistance offered to members, strategic partners and consumers within public and private sectors.

“Procore’s vision is to improve the lives of everyone in construction, and we’re taking action to build a more inclusive and equitable construction industry,” said Sasha Reed, Director of Industry Advancement at Procore. “Minority contractors have an important role to play in meeting the demand for work on projects across the nation. That demand requires an upskilled workforce that is tech-enabled. We partnered with USMCA to support the impactful work they’re doing to build capacity for minority entrepreneurs in the construction industry.”

Procore supports nonprofits and educational organizations dedicated to serving underrepresented communities as part of the company’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging (DIBs). Procore.org works to advance the construction industry through advocacy, education, and technology. For more information, visit procore.org.
