The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:45PM ET. It will feature a panel of notable experts with successful engagements over the past 50 years on issues ranging from human rights to climate change. The panel, which will be moderated by Mary Kate Wold, CEO and President of CPG, will discuss various approaches to engaging companies and the importance of having a seat at the table to effect change.

“Our experience has shown that when you practice shareholder engagement, you effectively have a seat at the table and are well-positioned to influence the decisions of a company,” said Ms. Wold. “We have had past success in speaking with companies on topics related to environmental sustainability, human trafficking, and board diversity. We are excited to bring this conversation to the forefront so others in The Episcopal Church can learn how their voices can create change.”

The panelists will include: Gwen Le Berre, Director, Responsible Investing, Parametric; Aeisha Mastagni, Portfolio Manager, Sustainable Investment & Stewardship Strategies, California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS); Paul Neuhauser, member, Executive Council Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility; and Christopher Rowe, CFA, Managing Director, Investments, Church Pension Group.

Videos and presentations from prior Insights & Ideas, which focused on investing in economically disadvantaged communities, faithful investing, positive impact investing, and sustainable investing, can be viewed at cpg.org/Insights&Ideas.
