Metronet Celebrates Grand Opening of Greenville Storefront

Metronet today celebrated the grand opening of its first North Carolina storefront in the City of Greenville. The fully funded $40 million city construction project first began last spring and has developed rapidly over the past year.

Metronet’s Greenville storefront, located at 530 SE Greenville Blvd, Suite A, will provide customers with the opportunity to learn more about Metronet’s lightning-fast speeds and service plans. Customers may now visit the newly opened storefront to sign up for multi-gigabit speed services, schedule installation and speak face-to-face with Metronet Customer Care Representatives. Online resources and additional information can be found at shop.metronet.com.

“The City of Greenville is excited for Metronet to officially open its storefront and to continue expanding to serve more residents and businesses,” said Greenville Mayor P.J. Connelly. “Metronet’s fast and reliable fiber optic connection has already proven to improve the quality of our community’s online presence. Their continued investment in Greenville has presented our city with the opportunity for continued growth and economic development.”

“Metronet has committed to investing in communities across the nation, and Greenville is no exception. Our network of high-quality and ultra-high-speed connections will enhance operations for businesses and homeowners alike,” said John Cinelli, Metronet CEO. “We are grateful for the support we have received from the City of Greenville and the business community, and we look forward to seeing the ways in which our new storefront will serve local customers.”

As a leading fiber optic internet provider, Metronet provides future-proof 100 percent fiber optic internet speeds to more than 250 communities across 16 states. With its expanded presence in Greenville, Metronet will continue to support more communities across the state with access to a 100 percent fiber optic infrastructure that has the ability to provide multi-gigabit speeds of up to 5GB through XGS PON technology.
