CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ), a leading provider of financial, insurance, and advisory services, announces the promotion of Bob Batz to Senior Managing Director of the Tampa Bay, Florida, office.

Batz is an experienced leader who has spent over 20 years with CBIZ and MHM. Previously, Batz served as the MHM Attest Practice Leader for the Tampa Bay market and a Lead Managing Director for CBIZ, where he utilized his extensive knowledge in accounting and business advisory services to navigate increasingly complex accounting standards. He primarily focused on bringing tailored, high-quality solutions to clients, including those with significant international operations, publicly traded companies, and midsize growth-focused private organizations in multiple industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retailing, professional services, construction, hospitality, and private equity.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Florida, Batz joined Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp, P.A. (KRMT) in 1998, which later merged into CBIZ. He has served in a variety of positions, rising through the ranks, and developing a deep understanding of the organization from the bottom up.

In 2008, Batz became a Shareholder in Mayer Hoffman McCann, P.C. and a Managing Director with CBIZ MHM, LLC.
