Metronet Connects Sioux City to Multi-Gigabit Fiber Optic Speeds

Service Installations Now Available for Residents and Businesses

Metronet today announced that ultra-high-speed multi-gigabit fiber optic internet is now available to residents and businesses throughout Sioux City. As Metronet becomes available to more throughout the Sioux City area, residents will have access to multi-gigabit speeds up to 2 gigabits; and businesses may access speeds up to 10 gigabits. Customers located in Metronet’s initial construction areas may now sign up to have Metronet’s future-proof, symmetrical fiber optic internet installed by visiting metronet.com or calling 888-225-3864.

“As Metronet connects our first customers in Sioux City to unparalleled multi-gigabit speeds, we look forward to seeing the positive impact our services will have in the homes and businesses we serve,” said Eric Vyncke, Metronet Regional Sales Manager. “At Metronet, we pride ourselves on ensuring that all residents and businesses throughout our service area have access to the same ultra-high-speed fiber optic internet, unlike many competitors. We understand the impact that a fiber optic network like ours can mean for a community. By connecting our customers, they can connect easier and faster to family, friends, and neighbors, near and far.”

As Metronet continues construction throughout Sioux City, residents in construction areas will receive 30 days advance notice by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood. Metronet provides additional messaging, such as yard signs, to notify residents of when construction is beginning in their neighborhood. Metronet crews are marked by ID tags and branded vehicles.
