“It’s been incredibly exciting to watch the Junior Builder program grow in popularity as more youth become interested learning about our industry,” said BIASC CEO Jeff Montejano. “These camps pack in lots of hands-on discovery experiences for kids––they’re having a blast while gaining invaluable skills that can shape their future career paths, whether they choose to go into homebuilding or pursue other STEAM-related professions.”
Junior Builder Fall Day Camp attendees will enjoy a guided field trip to Lennar’s Garden at the Arboretum, along with an engaging online home design contest. Awards, giveaways, and other activities are also planned.
"I am thrilled to be a part of the Building Industry Association of Southern California's Fall Junior Builder Camp. This camp is a wonderful opportunity for our city's youth to learn about the construction industry and develop their STEAM skills,” said Mayor Acquanetta Warren of Fontana. “I am confident that the campers will have a fun and enriching experience, and I look forward to seeing the amazing things they build."
