loanDepot featured in Orange County Business Journal’s fourth annual report on “Companies That Care”

Recognizes companies that have gone “above and beyond” to strengthen the Orange County (OC) community

loanDepot, Inc. ("LDI" or "Company") (NYSE: LDI), a leading provider of home lending solutions that enable customers to achieve the dream of home ownership, has been named in Orange County Business Journal’s fourth annual “Companies That Care” report, recognizing the companies making Orange County a better place for all.

With a culture deeply rooted in volunteerism and community support, loanDepot earned a place on the list for its ongoing support of non-profit organizations that serve Orange County, where the company is headquartered.

“We are a purpose-driven lender passionate about helping more families achieve the dream of homeownership, and strengthening the communities in which we live and work has always been part of loanDepot’s DNA,” said loanDepot President and CEO Frank Martell. “Each year, team loanDepot members are provided with paid time off to help them pursue their volunteer work in the community. We care deeply about our Orange County neighbors, and this recognition stands as a testament to the positive impact we are making on the community here.”

Through a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity, loanDepot is working to deepen its collective impact on families by mobilizing its communities to build safe and affordable homes. loanDepot leaders and employees have helped build and improve homes across the country, with several special projects in Santa Ana and Anaheim.

As one of the country's top providers of VA loans, loanDepot is deeply committed to serving the military community. loanDepot founder and board chair Anthony Hsieh created the War Heroes on Water (WHOW) sportfishing tournament to serve the needs of combat-wounded veterans, which draws deep Team loanDepot support annually. The company also supports the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, helping to provide need-based scholarships to the children of active-duty and prior service Marines and Navy Corpsmen.

Several other area organizations have special ties to the company’s leadership and employees, including Unlimited Possibilities, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, and the American Red Cross’s Go Red for Woman campaign.
