University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies Leaders and Scholars Present at 14th Annual the Qualitative Review Conference

Scholars will be presenting at event focused on qualitative research methodology

Faculty and graduate students with the University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies join the proceedings of The Qualitative Review (TQR) 14th Annual Conference, “Living in a Post-Covid World,” taking place February 16-18, 2023.

The event is intended for the qualitative research community, and the theme invites qualitative researchers to share lessons from qualitative inquiries on all aspects of life from all around the world now that COVID-19 has become endemic in human existence. Researchers are invited to share how their work as a qualitative researcher and educator has changed and evolved to meet this era. The event offers presentations, workshops, and panels with presenters from around the world.

“The Qualitative Review is a great opportunity for our scholars, students and faculty, to reflect on their own research process and share their findings in a global community,” states Hinrich Eylers, Ph.D., P.E., vice provost, College of Doctoral Studies at University of Phoenix. “We are pleased to have a robust group attending again this year, with the College of Doctoral Studies well represented across topics and industry focus areas.”

There were 24 scholars and researchers from University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies, faculty and graduate students, accepted to present 10 presentations for the TQR Annual Conference this year, including the following panels and presentations:

  • Mark McCaslin, Ph.D., with the Center for Leadership Studies and Organizational Research (CLSOR) at University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies, will present on “Research Frameworks for Grounded Theory Designs.”
  • Sandra Sessoms-Penny, Ed.D., and Joy Taylor, Ed.D, from the Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Research (CWDIR), will present on “K-12 Educational Leadership Responding to the Educational Climate During COVID-19: Narrative Inquiry.”
  • From the Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research (CEITR), Louise Underdahl, Ph.D., Patricia Akojie, Ph.D., Shawishi Haynes, Ed.D., Myrene A. Magabo, D.Comm., Rheanna Reed, D.M., Maureen Marzano, Ph.D., MBA, Margo Patterson, MD, DNP-C, and Mar Narvarro, Ph.D., will co-present on “Removing Educator/Employer Silos in a Post-Covid World.”
