Zayo’s Lynn D. Tinney Named as 2023 Channel Influencer Award Winner by Channel Futures

Zayo Group Holdings, Inc., a leading global communications infrastructure platform, is proud to announce that Lynn Tinney, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships at Zayo, has been named a 2023 Channel Influencer Award winner by Channel Futures. Tinney is one of 50 individuals recognized as a thought leader who will impact the direction of the IT and communications indirect sales channel in 2023.

Tinney is a well-known and respected voice in the channel community with over 20 years of channel leadership experience across the security and technology sectors. She has held senior leadership roles at companies including Brightcove, OPAQ, CA Technologies, Riverbed Technology, and Cisco Systems.

Since joining Zayo in January 2022, Lynn has led the re-architecture of the company’s channel partner program, resulting in a 15% year-over-year growth for the program. This included launching Zayo’s first-ever partner advisory board and integrating existing programs across Zayo-acquired companies Allstream and QOS Networks.

“Lynn has been an invaluable asset to Zayo,” said Brian Daniels, Chief Sales Officer, Strategic Verticals, at Zayo. “Under her leadership, Zayo has seen significant growth in our global channel partner program and made tremendous strides towards our goal of developing Zayo into a world-class partner organization. Her expertise and passion for the channel shine well beyond her work at Zayo, and we could not be more proud to see her recognized in this list of thought leaders.”

Lynn and the other 49 Channel Influencers will be honored at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, May 1-4 at the Venetian Resort & Expo in Las Vegas. She is profiled in a gallery on the Channel Futures website and the 2023 Channel Influencers digital issue, available now for download.

Since 2018, the Channel Futures Channel Influencer Awards have recognized individuals expected to have a significant impact on the IT and communications indirect sales channel in the year ahead. These individuals are considered to be channel leaders, dedicated to the channel and working to keep it moving forward.

“Our Channel Influencers share a number of common traits, chief among them being their dedication to the channel,” said Bobby DeMarzo, vice president of content, Informa Tech Channels Group. “In our conversations with this year’s honorees, they all cited the importance of sharing information and helping. They consider ‘influence’ to be an opportunity to help others.”

“Our editors are in the trenches, so they know who’s truly making waves and influencing the channel,” said Craig Galbraith, editorial director for Channel Futures. “We are once again proud to highlight the best and brightest Channel Influencers — those who lead with actions and words that set an example for the entire industry.”
