GoNetspeed Kicks Off Construction of High-Speed Fiber Network in Kennebunk

GoNetspeed, a high-speed 100 percent fiber to the premises internet provider, today announced that construction has officially begun on the high-speed fiber infrastructure that will provide residents and businesses throughout Kennebunk with fiber internet. Through GoNetspeed’s fully funded $2 million investment in Kennebunk, many residents and businesses will soon have the opportunity to tap into fast, reliable internet and voice service for their home or business, free of taxpayer dollars.

As construction expands throughout the area, the first customers will be eligible for service installation as early as this spring. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of spring when more than 2,000 homes and businesses throughout Kennebunk will have the opportunity to experience GoNetspeed’s symmetrical fiber internet speeds that allow customers to upload just as fast as they can download. Residents and businesses interested may visit gonetspeed.com to sign up for priority installation once service is available in their area.

“As technology capabilities evolve and we become more connected online, the need for reliable, future-proof internet grows. GoNetspeed has focused on developing 100 percent fiber internet designed to scale to faster speeds with modern homes and rapidly growing businesses,” said Richard Clark, GoNetspeed CEO. “Kennebunk will soon be equipped with an infrastructure that will support their continued growth as a community. We are grateful for the town’s continued support as we make progress to bringing future-proof fiber internet to their residents and businesses.”
