Centerview Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm, today announced the appointments of Partners Tony Kim and Eric Tokat as Co-Presidents, Investment Banking. Mr. Kim and Mr. Tokat will join Centerview’s senior management in overseeing and implementing Centerview’s strategy and continuing to develop its industry-leading client franchises.

Mr. Kim is a founding colleague of Centerview. He has played a significant role in the growth of the firm, including developing large cap client relationships across a broad range of industries, advising clients on some of the firm’s largest transactions, implementing Centerview’s strategy and developing Centerview’s internal talent. Mr. Tokat is a founding colleague of Centerview’s Healthcare practice. He has advised on many of the most important life sciences transactions over the past decade and has played an instrumental role in establishing Centerview’s healthcare practice as the market leader in strategic advisory.

Tony Kim

Tony Kim, 48, joined Centerview at its founding in 2006 and leads the firm’s consumer products practice. Mr. Kim is a member of the Board of Directors at GreaterNY, The Korea Society and Prep for Prep. He received a B.S. and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Eric Tokat

Eric Tokat, 46, joined Centerview in 2009. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the Brookings Institution and the International Rescue Committee, and on the Board of Advisors of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Tokat holds a B.A. from Bogazici University and a M.I.A. from Columbia University.
