Zip Intake-to-Procure Now Available on SAP® Store

By: via Business Wire

By Integrating With SAP Ariba, Zip Enables Streamlined B2B Purchasing Workflows for Joint Customers

Zip today announced that its Intake-to-Procure platform is now available on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Zip integrates with SAP Ariba, SAP’s leading spend management software solution that is purpose-built to streamline payment workflows. Zip Intake-to-Procure combined with the SAP Ariba procure-to-pay solution gives joint customers a best-in-class, end-to-end purchasing workflow with a consumer-style user experience. This allows businesses to easily increase compliance with procurement policies, drive more spend requests through Ariba and realize greater spend control.

“By integrating Zip with SAP Ariba, businesses can achieve an end-to-end procurement process that is both scalable and easy to use,” said Zip Co-founder and CEO Rujul Zaparde. “Zip provides a consumer-style, front-end experience for purchase request intake to drive employee adoption and compliance with procurement policies. The new integration adds a powerful layer of innovation to SAP Ariba’s well-established P2P capabilities, enabling our joint customers to bring more spend under management and drive greater visibility and control.”

During the software purchasing process, organizations can often experience a disconnect between their intake-to-procure (I2P) and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, which can lead to confusion among employees and introduce inaccuracies between key systems of record. The Zip-Ariba integration unifies the previously disjointed I2P and P2P processes. By offering a best-of-breed option for companies looking to address cross-functional intake and approvals, Zip complements and augments the established Ariba P2P processes that companies already have in place. Ariba customers can now effortlessly begin the intake process with Zip – automatically gathering the appropriate approvals they need from stakeholders – before being directed back to SAP Ariba to complete the P2P process.

SAP Store, found at store.sap.com, delivers a simplified and connected digital customer experience for finding, trying, buying and renewing more than 2,300 solutions from SAP and its partners.
