Dr. Sandra Faeh, in her role as Chief Veterinary Officer of NVA General Practice, helps veterinarians and animal care teams succeed by prioritizing their well-being and cultivating a community of exceptional talent. With a passion for shaping the future of the veterinary profession, Dr. Faeh serves as the co-creator and lead mentor for NVA’s General Practice Mentorship Program and a member of NVA’s Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Faeh earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She became the Managing Veterinarian and part-owner at Elmhurst Animal Care Center in Elmhurst, Illinois, along with three small animal hospitals in the Chicago suburbs. Her notable leadership positions include President of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, President of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, and Vice President of the AVMA.
