Bluegrass Supply Chain celebrated their expanded logistics company on June 27, 2003, by participating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this important milestone.

The Franklin-Simpson Chamber of Commerce held the ribbon-cutting at Bluegrass Supply Chain located at 805 Garvin Lane in the Henderson Industrial Park, the company’s second facility in Franklin, KY. Purchased in 2021 and originally consisting of 100,000 square feet, the ribbon cutting was for the building’s recent expansion to 200,000 square feet.

“We’ve always had a great relationship here in Simpson County and in Franklin,” stated John Higgins, CEO and President of Bluegrass Supply Chain. “We continue to grow and expand, and we really do appreciate our partnership with the industrial authority as well as the Franklin-Simpson Chamber of Commerce. Projects like this would not be successful without the incredible community leaders and county officials.”

“Depending on the type of customer in the facility, there could be anywhere from 20 to 25 jobs that the expansion brings in,” said Shawn Hart, Vice President of Operations.
