In response to the recent devastating wildfires that swept Maui, philanthropist Ed Freedman has announced that his Stable Road Foundation will launch its Maui Relief Fund to provide both short- and long-term support directly to the people of Maui.
Stable Road Foundation will match all gifts up to $500,000, allowing supporters of the fundraiser to double their impact. The boost is essential for meeting the needs of local people in the wake of the disaster, which is one of the worst in U.S. history.
Stable Road Foundation is widely respected and trusted on Maui for its community work. Its fundraiser will help communities, families, and businesses rebuild. It will also help preserve Hawaiian culture.
“Like everyone here on Maui, I’m devastated by the damage caused by these fires,” says Ed Freedman, founder of Stable Road Foundation. “It’s going to take a team effort to restore our community, and we need to roll up our sleeves and feel the impact. That’s why we’re launching the Help Maui Rebuild fund. We will match all donations up to $500,000 so you can double your impact.”
All donations made to the Help Maui Rebuild fund will go to helping local organizations serving the people of Maui, with 100% of all donations going to relief efforts. The Stable Road Foundation team is currently on the ground to help identify organizations that need resources the most.
Founded in 2017, Stable Road Foundation focuses on serving local communities on Maui and around the world through education and environmental conservation. The Foundation works with many Maui-based organizations such as Imua Family Services, Love the Sea, and the Hawai’i Land Trust.
