The theme song for Barney’s World is a nod to the original tune viewers know and love, but with an updated melody and lyrics. Mattel knows that being a kid can come with big emotions, and it is crucial for children to be enriched with lessons of self-love and friendship. Each episode of Barney’s World will tap into these pillars and strive to have a positive impact on the next generation.

“We are thrilled to share a modernized Barney with a new generation of kids and their families,” said Josh Silverman, Chief Franchise Officer at Mattel. “At Mattel, we are proud to empower future generations with programming such as Barney’s World, and hope that audiences receive and carry with them the show’s key lessons of love for themselves and one another.”

Barney’s World is co-produced by Mattel Television Studios and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana. It is executive produced by Michelle Mendelovitz and Josh Silverman for Mattel and by Athena Georgaklis, Doug Murphy, Mellany Welsh, and Pam Westman for Nelvana.
