American Water was recognized as one of 46 companies in Greater Philadelphia that are paving the way for gender equity and one of three companies designated as a Gold Champion, with 50 percent or more women on their respective boards.

The Champions were celebrated on Tuesday, November 12 at The Forum’s Leadership Breakfast at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Additionally, in collaboration with PwC US, The Forum unveiled the Women in Leadership 2024 Report, an in-depth examination of how companies in the region support the advancement of women leaders in corporate boardrooms and executive suites.
