Holborn Corporation (Holborn), a U.S.-based independent reinsurance broker, announced today that Frederic Gindraux has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Claims Advisory.

Mr. Gindraux will be based in New York City and will report to Frank Harrison, Holborn’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Gindraux will work in concert with Holborn’s clients, its client-facing teams and its account servicing department to provide industry-leading technical and analytical guidance on claims-related matters and participate in routine issues, such as client claim audits.
Mr. Gindraux brings over four decades of (re)insurance industry claims-related experience to Holborn. Before joining Holborn, Mr. Gindraux spent roughly thirty years at Swiss Re, most recently as Senior Vice President responsible for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of mass torts and emerging risks on excess casualty within its Global Claims Unit, as well as serving as interim Head of Claims for its EMEA region.
In addition, Mr. Gindraux has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Specialty Group, twice served as Chair of the Reinsurance of America Claim Committee and has served as President of The International Association of Claim Professionals (IACP) and many years as an IACP Board Member.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, Mr. Gindraux served in various claim-related capacities with Cigna Re, AIG, Reliance National Insurance, American Re and Liberty Mutual.
