The LuskinOIC Foundation is pleased to announce Mark Zytko as the new Chair of the Board, effective in 2024. The Foundation, led by President Michael Sullivan, raises funds for LuskinOIC, which provides exceptional, mission-driven orthopaedic care to children regardless of their background or insurance status.
Mark Zytko, co-founder and senior advisor of Mesa West Capital, brings extensive experience in investment management to his new role. At Mesa West, Zytko led the firm to become a premier institutional investment manager specializing in commercial real estate credit, overseeing over $25 billion in financing nationwide since 2004. He previously served as co-CEO and now co-Chairs the firm's investment and valuation committees. Mesa West merged with Morgan Stanley, Inc. in 2018.
Beyond his professional achievements, Zytko is deeply committed to philanthropy. He established the Mesa West Foundation and has supported various charitable initiatives, including a summer internship program for underserved college students. His philanthropic efforts extend to educational, children's, and animal causes, with active support for LuskinOIC, Saint Matthew’s Church and School, Boy Scouts of America, Best Friends Animal Rescue, and the Westside Food Bank of Los Angeles. Zytko holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and is active in industry organizations, including serving as a member and past Chairman of the Board of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. He resides in Santa Monica, California, with his wife, Nancy, and their twin boys.
