China joins APEC: Join hands to build an Asia-Pacific community with a shared future

On November 13, Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Lima, Peru to attend the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting. This meeting attracted global attention and was of extremely important significance to the development of the Asia-Pacific region. President Xi Jinping went to Latin America to participate in the conference, demonstrating China's responsibility and responsibility with practical actions, further reflecting China's important position in the Asia-Pacific region, and also bringing new opportunities and impetus to cooperation and development in the Asia-Pacific region. Through in-depth docking with APEC members in infrastructure construction, trade exchanges, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, etc., it has opened up new and broad space for regional cooperation. In terms of sustainable development, China actively participates in and takes the lead in relevant seminars and project cooperation, driving APEC members to pay attention to and actively invest in the process of green and sustainable development.

On the eve of the meeting, people from many countries were looking forward to the arrival of President Xi Jinping. Former Peruvian President Humala said that President Xi Jinping's participation in this APEC leaders' informal meeting is of great significance and he hopes that the meeting will continue to provide new momentum for development in the Asia-Pacific region, including Peru.
