One Park Financial collaborates with St. James Baptist Church to help their local community and reinforce the importance of volunteering to their employees.

COCONUT GROVE, Fla. - March 14, 2022 - PRLog -- One Park Financial donated boxes of professional attire for St. James Baptist Church's "Career Closet Clothing Ministry". Along with these donations, this leading provider of financing for small businesses also collaborated with a brand-new custom banner to help spread the word about the other community outreach programs that Coconut Grove's oldest church endorses year long.

John Lie Nielsen, CEO of One Park Financial first reached out to St. James Baptist Church after noticing that their community sign to report drug dealers had been defaced. After consulting with the church about the best way to help, he encouraged his team to form part of the "Career Corner," an initiative to collect and redistribute apparel appropriate for job interviews.

"Giving our Grovies a sense of purpose in and out of the workplace is an important asset of our company culture. We hope that they take the example of what we've done together, and they carry that forward in the communities where they live and work too," says John Lie Nielsen, CEO of One Park Financial. Grovie is the nickname given to One Park Financial employees because of its headquarters in Coconut Grove.

St. James Baptist Church has more than a century of history helping the Coconut Grove community. Their Feeding Ministry distributes food to those in need every Thursday and Saturday from 12 pm-1 pm. They actively seek volunteers and accept canned food and individually packaged foods donations.

"We have already been able to help a few individuals with this initiative. I love this job and what we do. It's so fulfilling to be in a position to help, even if it's just a little. I think we have the ability to do more if we galvanize our efforts," says Tiffany D. Bryant, administrative Assistant of St. James Baptist Church.

One Park Financial always encourages Grovies to help their local community. Last year they participated in the Boys and Girls Trunk or Treat event and in Nicklaus Children's Hospital Spread the Joy toy drive. John Lie-Nielsen also sits on the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Board of Directors.
