Kent home cinema installers partner with Together for Cinema

TONBRIDGE, U.K. - March 31, 2023 - PRLog -- ●      Kent home cinema specialist New Wave AV partners with Together for Cinema

●      The partnership enables hospices and other not-for-profit organisations to provide state-of-the-art entertainment to those they help

●      New Wave AV founder says it's 'an honour' to work with Together for Cinema

New Wave AV has partnered with 'good cause' enterprise Together for Cinema to give back to the community. The Kent-based smart home design and installation specialists will work with Together for Cinema to create stylish and technologically impressive home cinema rooms in children's hospices and other suitable locations. These entertainment rooms are designed to benefit children and young people as well as their families, carers, staff and volunteers.

Relentless Work for Hospices

Founded in 2009 by Ian Morrish, Together for Cinema works to create cinema rooms that will brighten little lives. To date, the organisation has completed well over 30 hospice cinema rooms, with projects continuously in the pipeline. Connecting consumer electronics communities with not-for-profit charitable activities, Together for Cinema aims to deliver state-of-the art results, with venues such as Jigsaw Children's Hospice in Carlisle, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People in Loughborough, and Dougie Mac Children's Hospice in Stoke-on-Trent all recently benefitting from the work.

Together for Cinema also finds homes for dated, second-hand and B-stock audio visual equipment in facilities that would otherwise not have had a budget to acquire them. Following continuous support from many companies including New Wave AV, the organisation has a busy time ahead and has already made plenty of plans. Their to-do list includes organising a celebratory Million Pound Ball for May 2024, developing plans to deliver newly released film content to the children's hospices (a meeting with Disney is in the pipelines for March) and continuing to recycle AV products to good causes. Together for Cinema also intends to develop the Cisco support for children's hospices.

A Collaboration That Makes Sense

The collaboration between New Wave AV and Together for Cinema makes sense considering New Wave AV's expertise in smart home and audio installations. The company specialises in designing unique entertainment spaces and offers impressive technology that is designed to transform living environments. From smart lighting solutions and window treatments to home cinemas and gaming rooms, New Wave AV has worked with Control4 since 2005 and has more than 250 systems in operation. The business is the first Control4 Diamond Pinnacle dealer and certified showroom in the UK, and has recently gained Member of Excellence status.

Speaking about this social initiative, founder Kevin Whysall said: "We're cinema installation experts with access to some of the best technology on the market. We have a strong work ethic with our clients but also realise how important corporate responsibility and giving back to the community is. Working alongside Together for Cinema is an honour and we hope we can help with their initiatives as much as possible going forward."
