Cingari Family ShopRite Celebrates Grand Reopening of the ShopRite of Shippan Ave. with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, January 29 with Stamford City Officials Expected to Attend

The ribbon-cutting event will celebrate the market's state-of-the-art remodel which features a new façade and a major expansion of grocery departments and customer offerings

Cingari Family ShopRite, the family-owned and operated Connecticut-based company, announced today the ribbon cutting on their newly renovated ShopRite on Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT is scheduled for Monday, January 29 at 9:30 a.m., with a special appearance by Stamford city officials.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the new and improved ShopRite of Shippan Avenue, a further testament to our ongoing commitment to serve the Stamford community,” says Tom Cingari, Sr., president and CEO of Cingari Family ShopRite. “With plenty of new offerings, expanded departments, and a fresh feel, we look forward to continuing our mission of providing quality groceries in a vibrant and welcoming shopping space. Among the exciting upgrades to the supermarket is a brand-new floral department featuring a variety of fresh flowers with seasonal bouquets for any occasion. Customers will also enjoy a new bakery department offering fresh bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts, and more delights that are baked each morning by the ShopRite team. The store’s large selection of produce, prepared foods, deli items, as well as meat and seafood, are even more diverse and varied, thanks to major expansions to corresponding departments to better cater to ever-evolving customer needs and tastes.

The grocery store updated its décor with neutral and wooden tones to create a more natural ambiance and modern look and feel across store aisles. The façade has also been completely renovated for a grand new welcoming entrance for customers. The store remained open throughout the entire renovation process, which took about 5 months.
