Confetti Announces their 2023 Culture Champion Award Winners

The time is here…Out of hundreds of nominees, Confetti bestowed the title of Confetti Culture Champion 2023 on three impressive individuals.

(PRUnderground) January 30th, 2024

In the months leading up to the New Year, hundreds of people from all over the world submitted their nominations for the Confetti Culture Champion Award 2023, an award highlighting those who excel in bringing their team together. Today, Confetti is thrilled to finally announce the three esteemed winners and celebrate their tangible impact in the workplace.

Confetti, a virtual team building events company, strives to improve company culture across distributed teams. Two-thirds of employees say their coworkers have the biggest impact on how connected they feel in the workplace (Harvard Business Review), so Confetti kicked off the Confetti Awards in 2023 to recognize those who put employee experience at the heart of their workplace mission every day.

The 2023 Culture Champion Winners Emily Sherburne (GoDaddy), Gabriela Paniagua (Credit Repair Cloud), and Reina Guzman (Taskrabbit) brought initiatives to their teams that embraced individuality, prioritized employee mental health, promoted Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts, and genuinely made the workplace somewhere their colleagues felt happy to be.

“It has been a dream come true to help facilitate employee connection and belonging with the work I do every day,” says award winner Emily Sherburne. “Our desire for community is our greatest asset and I’m honored to support others to bring their authentic selves to work.”

At Credit Repair Cloud, winner Gabriela Paniagua mentions that “our company’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of our teammates isn’t just a mission; it’s the heartbeat of who we are. This recognition is more than an award; it’s a testament to the company’s steadfast dedication and our joint efforts in building a workplace that genuinely cares about the well-being of each and every individual team member.”

In a statement by winner Reina Guzman, she thanks her “amazing Taskrabbit team for cultivating a workplace that values diversity and inclusion, demonstrating that everyone deserves to bring their authentic selves to work.”

Prizes for the Confetti Culture Champion Award included personal use gift cards, a charity donation by Confetti to the winner’s choice, and Confetti Credits – currency that teams can use to plan Confetti team building experiences in the future to maintain their positive team culture.

Confetti received over 350 nominee applications in 2023 outlining hundreds of incredible workplace initiatives to bring colleagues together and would like to thank every single nominee for their contribution to improving company culture. Due to the high number of applications, and the company’s wish to recognize even more amazing culture champions in 2024, the Confetti Awards will be back this year with even more award opportunities!
