Moonshot Snacks Expands Whole Foods Distribution, Reaching Over 3,200 Retail Locations in 17 Months

By: WebWire

Moonshot, the first explicitly climate-friendly snack brand, further expands its distribution as it hits Whole Foods shelves in California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, Idaho, Texas and Wyoming this week. Today, the crackers can be found in more than 3,200 retail locations across the U.S.

Unafraid to disrupt the status quo and make lifestyle changes to fight for a better world, young consumers recognize the power of voting with their dollars. In fact, a recent study found that 90% of consumers who snack daily care deeply about the companies they support. As consumers place greater value on brands that stand up for what they believe in, including climate change, grocers are looking to meet their needs with values-aligned offerings.

“I launched Moonshot to give sustainably-minded consumers a delicious way to eat in alignment with their values and the demand has never been more clear,” expressed Julia Collins, founder and CEO of Moonshot. “As we continue to grow the climate-friendly food movement, we're so honored to have Whole Foods' support.”

Since launching in retail in March 2021, Moonshot has rapidly expanded its footprint as retailers prioritize climate-friendly brands. In addition to Whole Foods, snackers can find Moonshot on shelves in Target, Sprouts, Wegmans, Raley's, The Fresh Market, Imperfect Foods, Murray's Cheese, Central Market, Giant Food Stores, GoPuff and many more.

“Brands must meet high standards to earn a spot on Whole Foods shelves, as their shoppers rely on the retailer to curate high-quality options that they can trust,” explained Jen Berliner, General Manager of Moonshot. “It's a privilege to reach more Whole Foods shoppers with our regenerative, organic snacks as we continue to educate consumers on the impact food has on our planet's health.”

This news follows on the brand's recent launch in over 50% of Target stores nationwide. If you're hungry for a healthy planet, find Moonshot at a store near you or online at moonshotsnacks.com. Retailers can bring Moonshot to their customers by clicking here.
