On November 4th and 5th, the SmartDesk 4 will be available for pre-order. The pre-order price is $539, which is about half the price of similar desks from competing brands.

SmartDesk 4 is a premium smart tool for home offices and corporate offices alike. Its most unique feature is a cutting-edge safety mechanism, an anti-collision sensor that automatically stops the desk from lifting and lowering if it detects an obstruction above or below the desk. The Autonomous SmartDesk 4 is also the first ever standing desk to make the built-in anti-collision feature user adjustable for sensitivity to obstructions.

Though previous SmartDesk models have been hailed for their build quality and rock-solid performance, the SmartDesk 4 features even more new hardware improvements over its predecessors, with a new dual-motor electric engine that is quieter than ever, at just 40 dB. It is also more powerful, with a lifting capacity of up to 350 pounds, a 15% increase over the SmartDesk 2.
