Through the course, students will learn how to make a multipurpose pie dough that can be used for both savory and dessert pies. The recipe can accommodate either dairy butter or vegan butter and still yield the same delectable results.

Coaching on weaving pastry into a beautiful lattice pattern is the highlight of the class. Stephanie Lentz reveals her secret weapon to ensure dough consistency for textbook results every time.

Besides acquiring the skills to make single, double, and lattice pie crusts, students will also be given exclusive access to three of Stephanie’s signature filling recipes: sweet fruit, savory pot, and plant-based quiche. All recipes are egg-free, soy-free, and dairy-free, but for those who have food allergies and restrictions, suggestions for ingredient substitutions are provided.

Furthermore, the course dispenses tips on how to properly freeze and thaw pie dough and ways to use pie dough scraps to minimize food waste. No baking skills or special equipment are required to sign up for the program, and a one-time payment of $33.14 gives students lifetime access to all lessons and recipes.

A satisfied student remarked, “Steph’s cooking classes are the best! She was very clear with her directions. Steph provided a new recipe each week, and I was excited to have a collection of tasty recipes by the end of her class. I would highly recommend her cooking class! Not only is Steph a wonderful cook, but she’s also an excellent teacher!”
