Love Conquers All, or Does It? Beatrice Cayzer’s New Psychological Thriller, Kidnapped in Jerusalem, Answers The Burning Question

The book takes the reader on an exhilarating journey from Turkey to Alexandria and from Cairo to Jerusalem, baring the secrets of the underworld of power

The world behind prison bars is rife with diverse evils, as politics and abuse by the institution’s superiors at every level are better imagined than experienced. Many people who have been imprisoned for crimes they did not commit, or who have been abandoned in these facilities, have no one to tell their stories. Beatrice Cayzer brings these issues and then some to light in her latest action book, Kidnapped in Jerusalem.

The fast-paced book, Kidnapped in Jerusalem, follows the life and adventures of Dennis McLeary and the cruel cards that life deals him with. As a victim of sexual abuse in his childhood and suffering a jail time of seventeen years over false accusations, the young man’s hope of ever truly living is crushed. Finally, the 35-year-old is freed and sails across the turbulent Turkish waters, where he has a chance at true love. He elopes with his love interest, a Turkish Saudi Arabian Muslim, Myriam al-Montee, who, unknown to him, is the daughter, and heir-apparent of a wealthy and fanatical dynast. Myriam’ s father swore to behead anyone who shows a fondness for his daughter, and Dennis will not be spared.

The couple travels from city to city to escape the tentacles of the cruel patriarch but meets their waterloo in Jerusalem, where Myriam is kidnapped and forcefully taken to her home in Saudi Arabia. Dennis craves a respite from the hard blows of life and longs for a normal marriage, seeking and rescuing Myriam, but trouble continues to knock on his door.

The 342-page book was written by renowned author Beatrice Fairbank Cayzer and was published in May 2021. The author is the daughter of a US Ambassador at large and a grandniece of US Vice President, Charles Warren Fairbanks. Beatrice graduated from Barnard College and got married to British Calvary Officer, Major Stanley Cayzer-a union that birthed the Cayzer Museum for Children.

Beatrice Cayzer’s literary career blossomed with her list of published books that are an ode to the various cities she has lived in. Her book, The Prince and Princesses of Wales, was written in Oxfordshire while The Royal World of Animals was written in Guernsey. Kidnapped in Jerusalem is available as a hardcover book on Amazon for $14.07, while the paperback copy goes for $8.96 only.
