By: Get News
The marriage of historical descendants Jorge Remon and Yinong Rao took place at the Mission of San Carlos Borromeo in California and was celebrated at Clint Eastwood's Ranch.

The union of Jorge Remon and Yinong Rao, both historical descendants, resulted in a captivating wedding ceremony. The groom, Jorge Remón (IG: @koke.wave), a thriving AI expert and entrepreneur, is the grandson of Maria Dolores Lasuen, a direct descendant of the house of Lasuen, who played a significant role in the founding of several cities in California during the 18th century. On the other hand, the bride, Yinong Rao, an accomplished executive at a global communications firm, is a descendant of the Manchu imperial house through her grandfather, Jiying Du, a renowned intellectual and professor. The couple met at a contest event in 2008, and their chemistry was undeniable from the start. They officially became husband and wife on January 6, 2023.

The designated maid of honor was Juliana Oropeza, and the groom's best-man was David Gross. Additionally, three key witnesses were named: Guillermo Remon, the groom's only brother, Ivan Sanchez, and Jesus Manuel Remon, both Jorge's cousins. The ceremony took place at 2 pm in the historic Mission of San Carlos Borromeo in Carmel-by-the-Sea, in the presence of close family and friends. Father Reynaldo Esquivel officiated the ceremony, and the groom's mother, Cristina Garcia-Lasuen, a renowned art curator, escorted him to the altar. The bride's parents, Miao Du and Jinzhong Rao, both successful oil painters, escorted their daughter. Under the incomparable Laura Schwingel's direction, the music echoed throughout the beautiful Basilica, adding solemnity and beauty to the distinguished event. The modern-day wedding observed all the traditional rituals of their families, along with a letter of vows of promise and commitment presented to Our Lady of Bethlehem. This marriage united one of the oldest families rooted in the very origins of the United States to an old Chinese regal family.

Yinong Rao, the beautiful bride, said, "I cherish every single day of our story. Taking this step unites us; furthermore, we were already as one, and now we get to be one in every possible way. I want to be that person who makes him happy every day. I perceive it as a dream, and awaiting such a meaningful commitment has been like magic to me." The ceremony was mesmerizing and soulful, and afterwards the couple celebrated with a beautiful reception at the Mission Ranch, which is owned by Clint Eastwood.

The reception itself was a celebration of the couple's love and union. The main toast was delivered by Jesus Remon, the groom's dad, Uria Menendez's newly appointed president, who wished the couple the best in their new stage of their lives together. Afterwards, Jose Luis Sanchez and Jorge Poblacion also wished the happy couple a joyful and blessed marriage. Jorge Remon added, "For me, it felt as if I happened to be a seasoned high seas fisherman sailing adrift overnight, distracted and to some extent also hopeless, when suddenly a blast of light enlightened my vessel, renewed my energies forever and lifted me. We are a team. A fun, intense, and always evolving duo."

The wedding was a beautiful and meaningful event that brought together families and friends to celebrate the love and union of Jorge and Yinong. The couple's love story is one that will be remembered for years to come, and surely they will always look back on their special day with fond memories. The ceremony and reception were a perfect reflection of the couple's personalities and the deep love they have for each other. The newlyweds are now embarking on a new chapter in their lives together, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.

As the night came to a close, the couple and their guests danced the night away, and the newlyweds were showered with love and well wishes from all those in attendance. The wedding was not only a celebration of the love between Jorge and Yinong, but also a celebration of the coming together of two predominant families and their respective cultures. It was a true testament to the power of love to bring people together and create a beautiful and harmonious union.
