ANNOUNCES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND OF $0.45 PER SHARE
New York, N.Y. June 9, 2006 Apollo Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: AINV) announces that its Board of Directors has declared its first fiscal quarter dividend of $0.45 per share, payable on June 29, 2006 to shareholders of record as of June 22, 2006. The ex-dividend date is June 20, 2006. Dividends are paid from taxable earnings whose specific tax characteristics will be reported to shareholders on Form 1099 after the end of the calendar year.
