On June 14, 2016, Bankwell Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiary Bankwell Bank (collectively, "Bankwell") and Ernest J. Verrico, Sr. ("Verrico"), Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, announced that Verrico has tendered his retirement notice effective January 31, 2017.
 
Bankwell issued a press release in connection with the retirement, which is attached to this filing.
