The Meatery Launches the "Meatery Box" Subscription Program for Home Cooks Who Love Wagyu Beef

SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 8, 2024 / The Meatery, the online seller of ultra-premium Wagyu beef, has rolled out its "Meatery Box," a subscription service for chefs who want to get creative in their kitchens. Over 70 cuts of Australian Wagyu, American Wagyu, Japanese A5 Wagyu, chicken, pork, sushi-grade fish, and other meats can now be included in customizable orders and delivered straight to homes. With new items added online each week, the "Meatery Box" is helping backyard grillers to explore deeper culinary experiences without going to the grocery store.

The Meatery was founded by Nicholas Fiorentino in 2020 and is on a mission to provide its customers with the biggest value in Wagyu. During the pandemic's lockdown, Fiorentino and his team became a source of premium Wagyu steaks and hamburgers for customers that could no longer eat in restaurants. Since those early days, The Meatery has grown quickly, opening multiple stores, and its blog posts, instructional videos, recipes, and explanations of cuts and Wagyu types have made the company into an Internet hub for all things "Wagyu." In particular, The Meatery is working to innovate its industry by exploring ways to honor the death of each animal through new cuts and methods of preparation. It is part of the brand's commitment to avoiding food waste while celebrating the Wagyu tradition.

The new Meatery Boxes are part of the company's initiative to simplify how meat gets from the farmer to the consumer's plate. Each box may include ultra-premium meats and everyday cuts as well as grass-fed beef and Prime Angus. Customers are able to edit their boxes and have them delivered every four, six, or eight weeks.

Fiorentino invites all home cooks to check out https://themeatery.com/, where they can learn more about Wagyu and explore recommendations for preparation. "Feel free to ask us questions about Wagyu, whether it is Japanese, American, or Australian, as there is always something new to learn," Fiorentino says. "You will have a lot of fun adding it to your menu and discovering that there is so much more out there beyond a ribeye or sirloin."
