UnitedHealthcare Selected by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to Continue Serving Florida Medicaid Members

Medicaid members will have access to UnitedHealthcare services, providers and benefits through 2030

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida has been selected to serve Medicaid members in three regions in collaboration with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Members in 30 counties will be able to access UnitedHealthcare services, providers and benefits through 2030.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida will continue to provide Medicaid Managed Assistance (MMA), Long Term Care (LTC), Seriously Mental Ill (SMI), and HIV/AIDS services in Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Manatee, Marion, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Nassau, Polk, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwanee, Union and Volusia counties. The company will also continue to offer a wide range of benefits and services to its members, including access to primary care doctors, specialists, hospitals and prescription drugs.

The health plan was also recognized with the NCQA Long-Term Services and Supports Distinction for coordinating long-term services and supports that deliver efficient, effective person-centered care.
